Bishops' Appeal "Zoup Lunch"

Each year in Drumglass Parish, on the first Sunday in Lent, parishioners have the opportunity to forego their Sunday roast and gather in St Anne’s Hall for a soup lunch, in aid of Bishops’ Appeal. This year, with the ongoing restrictions, this wasn’t possible, so instead the Rev Elizabeth Stevenson organised the soup lunch on Zoom – hence the Zoup!! Fifty parishioners joined on Zoom, with a wide variety of soup flavours, and were delighted that Lydia Monds, Education Advisor to Bishops’ Appeal, also joined. With the aid of a power point presentation, Lydia was able to provide an insight into some of the fantastic life-giving projects which are sustained through the support of Bishops’ Appeal.
